UNDERWATER HULL MAINTENANCE 619 224-7827
Star Marine

Star Marine's workboat has all of the equipment to clean today’s and future bottom paints.

Our equipment includes water pressure cleaning, as well as traditional hand cleaning methods, specialty equipment that includes power washing propellers, bow thrusters, out drives and motorized nylon brushes to gently clean the new age paints, discharging less pollutants into the environment.

A study published by the San Diego Port District, (see Table 2), pointed out that hull cleaning with carpet or a nylon brush generates less pollutants then commonly used scouring pads. This is a better way to clean your hull and be responsible for maintaining a clean San Diego Bay environment.
